This Privacy Policy explains how TOYOUDREAM Inc. ("we", "us"), the operator of TXTY, handles your personal data.

Scope & applicable law. This policy applies to all users. As we are a company in the Republic of Korea, Korean data-protection law (PIPA) applies to our processing regardless of your nationality, location, or the language you read this in. If you are located in the EEA or the UK, the EU/UK GDPR additionally applies and the GDPR-specific rights below apply to you.

4. Activity analytics & our legitimate interest

We record which titles a signed-in business user views or downloads so we can operate the rights-trading service and follow up appropriately. This is first-party and kept on our own systems; we do not track you across other websites and do not sell this data. You can object to this processing at any time (see section 9).

5. Marketing communications
  • Marketing emails are sent only with your consent, which is optional — declining does not limit brochure or sample access.
  • Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe; you can withdraw consent at any time and we stop immediately.
  • Transactional emails (a brochure or sample you requested, meeting confirmations) are sent as part of the service you asked for.
6. How long we keep your data
  • Marketing lead data (business contact details): up to 3 years from your last active contact; deleted immediately if you withdraw consent.

  • We do not sell your data and do not provide it to third parties except as described here or as required by law.
8. International data transfers

We are established in the Republic of Korea and host data in Korea (AWS Seoul). For users in the EEA: the European Commission has recognised the Republic of Korea as providing an adequate level of data protection, so transfers of your data to Korea are permitted without additional safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not onward-transfer your data to third countries.

9. Your rights

All users: you may request access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing of your personal data, and may withdraw any consent you have given. You may lodge a complaint with Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC, pipc.go.kr) or the Korea Internet & Security Agency report centre (privacy.kisa.or.kr · 118).

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you additionally have the right to restriction, data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest (including any profiling), and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact contact@toyoudream.com.

10. Automated decisions & profiling

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you by solely automated means. If we later personalise title recommendations based on your activity, it will be low-impact, disclosed here, and you will be able to opt out.

11. Security

We apply organisational, technical and physical safeguards — access control, security software, internal policies and staff training, and controlled access to server and storage facilities.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; changes take effect when posted on this site.
